Dr. Abdul has formal education and more than 35 years experience in environmental science, environmental site assessment, remediation engineering, emission abatement, bio-treatment, hydrogeology, fate and transport of contaminants in surface water, soil and groundwater systems, water resources engineering, surface water hydrology, meteorology, and the development and application of mathematical models.

Since 1985, Dr. Abdul has provided comprehensive, low-cost project management/leadership including all aspects of Phase I and II ESAs, site investigation, problem assessment, treatability/feasibility studies, remedial and treatment system design, system implementation, site monitoring and maintenance, and site compliance and closure for LUST, RCRA, CERCLA and other types of state and federal regulated sites. Dr. Abdul is a registered Professional Hydrogeologist and is a nationally and internationally recognized scientific and technical leader in the areas of fate and transport of contaminants and the use of innovative, low-cost cleanup and treatment technologies to meet risk-based clean-up goals.

Dr. Abdul is the author or co-author of more than 45 scientific publications, numerous technical reports, and eight patented cleanup technologies. Dr. Abdul was a member of the General Motors Research & Development Laboratories from 1985 to 1995, during which time he led an Internationally Recognized Team in the development and application of environmental science and technologies.

Dr. Abdul is a founding member of NESA & Associates Inc.; a technology based full-service environmental science and engineering consulting company, which has its corporate office in Warren, Michigan.
